Paramount Pictures had previously scheduled the “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” movie for March 3rd, while a sixth film in the “Scream” franchise was set for March 31st.
Now, the films have switched things up. As a result, “Scream” will now arrive on March 10th whilst “Dungeons & Dragons” will hit cinemas on March 31st, with both film titles to open in theaters nationwide.
The sixth “Scream” directly picks up with the survivors of the fifth film, which debuted earlier this year. The four survivors (Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Jenna Ortega) leave Woodsboro behind to start a fresh chapter.
Hayden Panettiere, Courteney Cox, Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra, Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving, and Tony Revolori will co-star with Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directing.
“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” meanwhile, is based on the hit role-playing game from Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast. It follows a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers who embark on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic.
Chris Pine (Star Trek), Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, Hugh Grant and Jason Wong co-star whilst Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley direct.
