British actor/martial artist and direct-to-video action movie king Scott Adkins is in negotiations to join the cast of the just started filming fourth “John Wick” movie at Lionsgate.
Keanu Reeves returning to reprise the role of the titular master assassin and is joined by the likes of Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama and Shamier Anderson in this outing.
Chad Stahelski returns as director with Shay Hatten and Michael Finch taking over scripting duties this time. The film is set to open May 27th 2022.
Adkins has consistently appeared in multiple films almost every year for two decades and has had roles in theatrical releases like “Grimsby,” “The Expendables II,” “Doctor Strange,” “The Bourne Ultimatum,” “American Assassin,” “IP Man 4,” “Wolf Warrior,” “Zero Dark Thirty” and “The Pink Panther”.
He is currently filming Netflix’s next action-comedy “Day Shift” starring Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco and Meagan Good.
