Timed to promote the release of his new action series “FUBAR” this coming Thursday, Netflix has released a new two-minute promo starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In the clip, the “Terminator” and “Total Recall” actor pulles up to Netflix HQ in his tank and is appointed the streamer’s Chief Action Officer.
He proceeds to ensure an adrenaline fueled line-up with brief clips of already available titles like “The Night Agent” and “The Mother” and upcoming titles starting with the Chris Hemsworth-led “Extraction 2” hitting June 16th.
There’s also looks at the Henry Cavill-led “The Witcher” third season returning June 29th, the Gal Gadot-led “Heart of Stone” arriving August 11th, and “FUBAR” on May 25th.
In the mix is a first look at the action series “The Brothers Sun” starring Michelle Yeoh and Justin Chien which follows a Taipei gangster who must go to Los Angeles to protect his mother and younger brother after his father is taken down by an assassin.
Finally there’s a first glimpse of the action feature “Lift” starring Kevin Hart, Vincent D’Onofrio, Sam Worthington, Gugu Mbatha Raw, Jean Reno, Paul Anderson, Burn Gorman and Billy Magnussen. That a female master thief and her ex-boyfriend who team to steal $100 million in gold bullion being transported on a 777 passenger flight.
The latter two don’t have release dates as yet beyond sometime later this year.
