Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films is set to finance and produce the dark drama “478” with Arnold Schwarzenegger set to star.
The “Terminator” actor and former Governor will play a man whose wife and child die in a plane crash, a tragedy caused by an air traffic controller’s screw-up. Vilified for his mistake, the controller is placed into protective custody but Schwarzenegger’s character cannot let it go and wants vengeance.
Elliott Lester (HBO’s “Nightingale”) will direct from a script by Javier Guillon (“The Double,” “Enemy”). Darren Aronofsky, Scott Franklin, Eric Watson, Randall Emmett, George Furla and Peter Dealbert will produce.
Filming is set to kick off mid-December in Ohio.
