Liev Schreiber and Taye Diggs are joining the voice cast of Jayson Thiessen’s “My Little Pony: The Movie” which is already slated to open October 6th 2017.
The story is launched when a new dark force threatens Ponyville and the ponies must embark on a journey beyond Equestria, using the magic of friendship and save their home.
Emily Blunt, Kristen Chenoweth, Uzo Aduba and Michael Pena are already onboard bringing to life brand-new characters for the movie alongside key members of the cast of the “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” TV series.
Meghan McCarthy penned the screenplay while Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis are producing.
