WWE Superstar Sasha Banks has reportedly filmed scenes for the second season of the live-action “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian” on Disney+.
Initially a rumor, Pro Wrestling Sheet claims they have confirmed the casting. It’s not clear if this will be a full guest starring role ala Ming Na-Wen or Natalia Tena last season, or more a cameo style appearance ala Dwayne Johnson popping up in “Star Trek: Voyager” in his early days.
Details on the character are also under wraps. Banks has been off WWE television since January and confirmed earlier this month (via Wrestling Inc that she’s been dealing with an ankle injury.
“The Mandalorian” will return to screens in October.
