Sam Raimi is reportedly in talks to direct the film adaptation of Matthew Quick’s upcoming novel “Love May Fail” which Mike White is writing.
With her marriage to a cheating husband at an end, the story follows a woman who returns to her hometown to clear the name of her favorite English teacher. Said teacher’s career came to a forced end after a classroom scandal.
Matt Tolmach is producing. Quick also penned the novel “Silver Linings Playbook” which became the acclaimed film of the same name.
