“Homeland” actor Rupert Friend will make his feature directorial debut on “Barton & Charlie & Checco & Bill” for Bron Studios and Fortitude International.
Friend’s former “The Young Victoria” co-star Emily Blunt is in negotiations to join the cast of the project which is described as a road movie about a grifter and a savvy woman who embark on a romantic adventure.
Friend wrote the screenplay and will produce alongside Aaron L Gilbert and Margot Hand. Shooting is scheduled to commence in spring 2015 .
