“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” director Gareth Edwards and cinematographer Greig Fraser are re-teaming on another sci-fi feature “True Love” which has just begun filming.
Fraser and rising short film lenser Oren Soffer, who are sharing the film’s cinematography, posted on social media that the first day of shooting was complete.
John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Danny McBride, Benedict Wong and Allison Janney are starring in the project which is being financed by New Regency and distributed by 20th Century Studios.
Edwards also wrote the screenplay for the film with the story details under wraps. Fraser lensed Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” and is expected to return to lens the sequel which begins filming later this year.
