Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the ten-episode comedy s series “Platonic” which launches May 24th.
The series follows Sylvia (Rose Byrne) and Will (Seth Rogen), a platonic pair of former best friends who suffered a falling out and reconnect as they approach midlife.
The duo’s friendship becomes all-consuming – and destabilizes their lives with the trailer showing off destruction of multiple homes along with scenes like a friend warning Rogen’s character “men can’t be friends with women”.
Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Carla Gallo, and Andrew Lopez co-star in the series which hails from co-creators Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco who co-wrote and directed the project.
Byrne, Rogen, Stoller, Delbanco and Conor Welch are executive producers. “Platonic” launches its first three half-hour episodes on May 24th with new episodes debuting weekly on Wednesdays.
