When it comes to superhero games you pretty much can’t beat the four “Batman: Arkham” games, especially the three Rocksteady Studios titles, and “Marvel’s Spider-Man” for PS4.
While a “Spider-Man” sequel is inevitable, the ‘Arkham’ franchise is seemingly over. We do know both Rocksteady and WB Games Montreal have both been at work, in secret, on their own titles for years but what those two projects could be have yet to be revealed.
There’s rumors the WBGM one is “Batman: Arkham Legacy,” but that’s not confirmed, and there had been talk of them doing a “Suicide Squad” game which was axed. Rocksteady meanwhile was rumored to be doing a Superman game, one that didn’t come to fruition, and/or potentially a “Justice League” game.
Recently though, leaker James Sigfield claims to have heard that Warners decided to pass on a Superman game from Rocksteady and released some possible concept art from that failed pitch.
Hearing from multiple sources that Rocksteady pitched a Superman game to WB as a follow up to Arkham Knight, and WB passed on the project.
Judging how similar this feels to the “New Gotham” section of Arkham Knight, this could be for that. pic.twitter.com/RKIE6ugKSP

Whatever the case, Rocksteady has remain completely radio silent about what they’re working on with many hoping whatever it is will be unveiled sometime later this year.
