Game publisher Nacon, MGM and Polish video games developer Teyon have jointly announced “RoboCop: Rogue City,” the first full game based on the “RoboCop” franchise in nearly twenty years.
The title is said to be a brand-new story based around the first three movies in the franchise with the project targeting a 2023 release on both consoles and PC. Which consoles wasn’t specified.
Teyon is famous for the 2014 title “Rambo: The Video Game,” and the 2019 title “Terminator: Resistance” – both first-person shooters that were negatively received with a 23 & 47 Metacritic score respectively for their PlayStation versions.
The RoboCop character was most recently a DLC inclusion in “Mortal Kombat 11”.
