Rob Delaney Returns For “Deadpool 3”

20th Century Studios

Rob Delaney has closed a deal to reprise his role of Peter Wisdom for “Deadpool 3” at Marvel Studios.

Peter joined Deadpool’s mutant-heavy new team X-Force in “Deadpool 2” despite being a human with no powers or special skills to speak of.

The character is one of the few newly introduced ones to survive as aside from Domino, almost all the other X-Force characters (played by Lewis Tan, Terry Crews, Bill Skarsgard and Brad Pitt) were killed within minutes of their introduction.

Shawn Levy will direct and produce the Ryan Reynolds-led ensemble which Reynolds and Kevin Feige are producing. All are working from a script by Reynolds, Levy, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese and Zeb Wells.

Reynolds is back as Wade Wilson (Reynolds), the foul-mouthed mercenary who transforms into the immortal superhero known as Deadpool following a disfiguring science experiment.

Also back is Karan Soni as Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa and Stefan Kapicic as Colossus.

Hugh Jackman joins them as Wolverine along with Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen. “Deadpool 3” marks the first R-rated Marvel Studios feature and is slated for release on November 8th 2024.

Delaney will soon be seen in Christopher McQuarrie’s “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” Matthew Vaughn’s “Argylle,” Netflix’s “Love at First Sight,” and Apple series “Bad Monkey”.
