It isn’t just planned overseas film shoots anymore it seems.
Production of the current season of The CW’s “Riverdale” has been suspended at its home base in Vancouver after a member of the production came into contact with someone who recently tested positive for the novel coronavirus (aka COVID-19).
A Warner Bros. TV spokesperson says a team member from the series was recently in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 and a is currently receiving medical evaluation.
The studio is working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies to identify those who may have come into direct contact with our team member and, out of an abundance of caution, production on the show is currently suspended.
A crew member on FOX’s “neXt” also tested positive whilst filming in Chicago, and CBS’ “Survivor” – which was slated to start filming in Fiji later in March – has suspended production.
