Diana Rigg, Tom Felton, Ian Hart, Niamh Algar and Tom Glynn-Carney are attached to star in Stigma Films’ period thriller “Burial” from “The Chamber” writer-director Ben Parker.
The story is set in the last days of WWII as a small band of Russian soldiers are tasked with trafficking Hitler’s discovered remains back to Stalin in Moscow. En route, they’re attacked by murderous German ‘Wehrwolf’ partisans and picked off one-by-one.
The group is led by female intelligence officer Brana Vasilyeva and so she and her fellow survivors must make a last stand to ensure their ‘cargo’ doesn’t fall into the hands of their attackers and be buried forever to hide the truth.
Matthew James Wilkinson, Hugh Spearing and Paul Higgins will produce and principal photography is due to get underway in Estonia in late 2020.
