Richard Linklater’s “Hitman” Begins Filming

“Before Sunrise” and “Boyhood” director Richard Linklater’s new action comedy “Hitman” has begun production in New Orleans for AGC Studios.

Glen Powell (“Top Gun: Maverick,” “Devotion”) stars as a Houston cop who has been working undercover as the most in-demand hitman in the city.

One day he breaks protocol in order to help a desperate woman (Adria Arjona) trying to escape an abusive boyfriend. Linklater and Powell co-wrote the script.

Austin Amelio, Retta and Molly Bernard have joined the cast of the project which Linklater, Powell, Michael Blizzard, Michael Costigan and Jason Bateman will produce.
