David Fincher’s go-to composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have confirmed they’re working on the score for “Call Me By Your Name” and “Suspiria” director Luca Guadagnino’s new cannibal romance drama “Bones and All”.
Ross revealed the pair have completed their work on the film in the official Nine Inch Nails Discord forum (via Far Out Magazine), but didn’t elaborate further. Outside of Fincher, the pair have worked on such films as “Bird Box” and Pixar’s “Soul”.
Timothee Chalamet and Taylor Russell lead the coming-of-age romance horror film also starring Mark Rylance, Michael Stuhlbarg, Andre Holland, Jessica Harper and Chloe Sevigny.
Speaking with Fantastic Man recently, Guadagnino promised it will be an extremely romantic movie:
“I like to think that ‘Bones and All’ is an extremely romantic movie, addressing the romanticism that lies within us and within relationships in general. Of course, there’s the literal aspect of it being a movie about cannibal lovers, which is extreme in many ways, but I think the more extreme aspect of the movie is the intensity of the feelÂings that these people go through – the impossibility of love.”
Both Guadagnino’s proposed “Call Me By Your Name” sequel and a new series remake of “Brideshead Revisited” have been shelved. He is still working on a “Scarface” remake and an Audrey Hepburn biopic.
