With Dwayne Johnson turning 47 on Saturday, his “Red Notice” co-star Ryan Reynolds has taken to Instagram to wish him a happy birthday and in the process offered the first behind-the-scenes photo from the set their action comedy “Red Notice”.
Filming on the project got underway in Atlanta in January, but only half the movie was shot before being forced to shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. Reynolds jokes that: “had we not spent 90 percent of our time laughing, we might have finished it in time.”
Rawson Marshall Thurber helms the film which focuses on the world’s greatest INTERPOL agent (Johnson) being assigned to track down the world’s greatest art thief (Gal Gadot) while the world’s greatest con man (Reynolds) gets in his way.
“Red Notice” was targeting a November release, but now its unclear when it might land.
