“Free Guy” star Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy are set to re-team for an untitled time-travel adventure project for Skydance.
Jonathan Topper is penning the film in which Reynolds plays a man who must travel back in time to get help from his thirteen-year-old self. Together, they encounter their late father, who is now the same age as Reynolds.
Both Reynolds and Levy will produce the film alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, George Dewey and Don Granger.
Filming aims to begin in the fourth quarter of this year on the U.S. East Coast depending on coronavirus pandemic recovery progress.
“Free Guy” meanwhile will release December 11th.
