Apple Original Films has announced a November 11th theatrical release followed by a November 18th release on Apple TV+ of the holiday musical comedy “Spirited”.
Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer lead the cast of this modern musical rendition of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”, in which the scrooge is visited by four ghosts on Christmas Eve.
This version adds more comedy and some huge musical numbers with songs by “La La Land” duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Patrick Page, Sunita Mani, Loren Woods, Joe Tippett, Marlow Barkley and Jen Tullock also star.
Sean Anders and John Morris wrote the film with Anders directing. Anders, Morris, Reynolds, George Dewey, Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum and David Koplan produce.
