Reedus Joins “Wick” Spin-Off “Ballerina”

AMC

“The Walking Dead” and “The Boondock Saints” star Norman Reedus has signed on to star in the currently shooting Ana de Armas-led “John Wick” spin-off feature “Ballerina” at Lionsgate.

de Armas stars as a young woman with killer skills who uses them to get revenge when her family is killed by hitmen. Shay Hatten penned the script.

Len Wiseman helms the feature, which will also star Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Keanu Reeves in a cameo.

Reedus has been incredibly busy of late. After wrapping eleven seasons on AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” he shot a role in Jeff Nichols’ just-wrapped feature “The Bikeriders” alongside Austin Butler, Tom Hardy and Jodie Comer.

He also returns as the star of Hideo Kojima’s “Death Stranding” game sequel and is currently shooting “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” spin-off series in France.

Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski are producing “Ballerina”. It will debut after “John Wick: Chapter 4”, which hits cinemas on March 24th.
