Comic villain Godspeed has appeared several times on “The Flash” in the past two seasons, though almost all of these appearances have been by drone copies with the real white-and-gold clad Godspeed an offscreen antagonist.
Showrunner Eric Wallace was asked by TV Line recently if they will finally show us the real Godspeed to which he responded: “Yes, you just might…because that’s where we’re going.”
The CW has previously teased a new threat to Central City as the seventh season’s ‘big bad’, one unleashed by the actions within the first three episodes (the holdovers from the sixth season) as Flash sets out to defeat Mirror Master. This new foe “threatens to tear his team – and his marriage – apart”.
