Amazon Prime Video has switched up its plans for how Jack Reacher will be coming to screens this year.

Previously, the aim was for the spin-off series “Neagley” to go first – sometime this Summer – followed by the fourth season of “Reacher” later this year.

That order has now changed with the streaming giant revealing their release strategy today along with several new stills from “Neagley”.

The fourth season of “Reacher” will go first, with its first three episodes premiering on August 12th. The remaining five episodes will release weekly through until September 16th.

Then, also on September 16th, “Neagley” will premiere with the entire eight-episode season dropping as a binge release.

The fourth season of “Reacher” will be based on Lee Child’s 13th book from the series “Gone Tomorrow”. Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette, Sydelle Noel, Marc Blucas, Kevin Weisman, Kathleen Robertson and Kevin Corrigan join the new season.

“Reacher” has already been renewed for a fifth season.
