NBC has cast Raymond Lee (“Here and Now,” “Kevin Can F— Himself”) as one of the leads in the pilot for its “Quantum Leap” sequel series.
The new series takes place 30 years after Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now a new team has been assembled to restart the project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and its creator.
Lee will play world-renowned physicist Dr. Ben Seong, a man of faith who is working to restart the time travel project known as Quantum Leap.
Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt (“La Brea”) are writing the pilot and will also executive produce.
