“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” co-director Peter Ramsey has been set to helm at least one episode of the new “Star Wars” series “Ahsoka” for Lucasfilm and the Disney+ service.
The series follows fan-favorite Jedi character Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) who made her live-action debut in the second season of “The Mandalorian” and appeared in an episode of “The Book of Boba Fett”.
While story details are under wraps, the suggestion is Tano is journeying from one end of the galaxy to another in search of Grand Admiral Thrawn, a blue-skinned master strategist and former commander in the Empire.
Ray Stevenson, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno and Natasha Liu Bordizzo star while Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker.
Shooting begins in Los Angeles later this month with the episode count and additional directors not yet revealed. Dave Filoni is writing the series and executive producing with Jon Favreau.
