Rainn Wilson has scored a leading role opposite Jason Statham and Fan Bingbing in the Jon Turteltaub-directed giant prehistoric shark film “Meg” at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Wilson plays tech billionaire Jack Morris who funds an underwater observation program that unwittingly unleashes the 70-foot, 40-ton Carcharodon megalodon off the coast of present-day China.
An adaptation of Steve Alten’s novel, Dean Georgaris adapted the book with a rewrite by James Vanderbilt. The project will be produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Belle Avery and Colin Wilson and opens in cinemas March 2nd 2018.
