“Blindspotting” actor Rafael Casal is set for a major role in the second season of the Marvel Studios series “Loki” on the Disney+ service.
Casal’s casting was first indicated when photos from the show’s production leaked online and saw Casal walking alongside returnees Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson.
While details about Casal’s character are under wraps, online speculation suggests he could be playing Zaniac.
“Loki,” which had strong reviews and viewing numbers, is the first Marvel series for Disney+ to get a second season. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are co-directing a majority of the episodes in the new season while Eric Martin is penning all six episodes.
