“Sex and the City” and “White Collar” actor Willie Garson has died at the age of 57 following a battle with cancer. Garson is survived by his son Nathen Garson.

The fan-favorite actor worked in TV for decades, guest-starring across dozens of series and serving as a regular on both those shows. Garson was shooting the currently in production “Sex and the City” revival series “And Just Like That…” in New York City before he passed.

Other small screen credits include the likes of “NYPD Blue,” “Stargate SG-1,” “Quantum Leap,” “Friends,” “Monk,” “Ally McBeal,” “Family Ties,” “Party of Five,” and “Mr. Belvedere”.

He also popped up in numerous films including “Being John Malkovich,” “Groundhog Day,” “There’s Something About Mary,” “Troop Beverly Hills,” “Soapdish,” “Kingpin,” “Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead,” “Black Sheep” and “Just Like Heaven”.
