Hardworking and memorably voiced character actress Estelle Harris, best known as the mother of George Costanza (Jason Alexander) in “Seinfeld” and as the voice of Mrs. Potato Head in the “Toy Story” sequels, has died of natural causes at the age of 93.

Harris’ son Glen Harris held her as she drew her final breath as she passed away Saturday evening in Palm Desert, California.

The actress had major success on stage and on screen, appearing in countless series including “Futurama,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “ER,” “iCarly,” “Star Trek: Voyager,” “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “Dave the Barbarian,” “Queer Duck,” “The Wild Thornberrys,” “Night Court,” “Married… with Children,” “Mad About You,” “Cybill,” “Kim Possible,” “Hercules,” “The Looney Tunes Show,” “Living Single, “Moesha,” “Night Stand” and many more.

Her film credits included a bunch of films such as “Once Upon a Time in America,” “CBGB,” “The Odd Couple II,” “Chairman of the Board,” “Out to Sea,” “Perfect Alibi,” “Playing Mona Lisa” and “Dancing in September” among others. She also starred in countless TV commercials.

Harris is survived by a total of three children, as well as three grandsons and a great-grandson.
