NEON has picked up the U.S. rights to Cannes romantic comedy title “The Worst Person in the World” directed by Norwegian writer-director Joachim Trier.

Francis Annan (“Escape From Pretoria”) has been set to direct a contemporary reworking of “The Count Of Monte Cristo” which is backed by Bear Grylls’ production company. Grylls, Ben Grass and Christophe Charlier will produce

Pistol
A fight between members of 1970s punk band The Sex Pistols over the use of their music in Danny Boyle’s new FX series “Pistol” has reached London’s High Court.
John Lydon (aka. Johnny Rotten) is defending a lawsuit from guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook regarding his refusal to give permission for the band’s hits to be used in Boyle’s show based on Jones’ memoir “Lonely Boy”. [Source: Variety]
The Green Knight
