Warner Bros. Pictures has set a March 17th 2023 release date for “Wonka,” their prequel to Roald Dahl’s classic novel “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. Turner and Hooch
McG has signed on to direct the pilot episode and executive produce the Josh Peck-led “Turner & Hooch” TV series reboot at the Disney+ service. The reimagining of the 1989 buddy-cop comedy, starring Tom Hanks and a dog, hails from “Burn Notice” showrunner Matt Nix. [Source: Deadline]

Against the Ice
“Game of Thrones” alums Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Charles Dance along with Joe Cole will lead the cast of the survival thriller “Against The Ice” at Netflix.

Coster-Waldau and Joe Derrick adapt the screenplay about a Danish expedition attempting to disprove the United States’ claim to North-Eastern Greenland. The expedition battled extreme hunger, fatigue and a polar bear attack. [Source: Deadline]

Euphoria
The second special episode of HBO’s Emmy-winning drama series “Euphoria” is going early on HBO Max and will be available from Friday, January 22nd at 9pm US-ET – two days before its network premiere. The new special follows Hunter Schafer’ Jules over the Christmas holiday as she reflects on the year.
