Lionsgate’s “John Wick Chapter 4” has set a streaming release date with the film set to arrive on PVOD platforms on May 23rd. In addition, Universal and Illumination have reportedly set a May 9th PVOD date for “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”. Both titles will be available on platforms like iTunes, Amazon and Google. Blade Runner 2099
Rumored in mid-March to be a part of the “”Blade Runner 2099” TV series, “Killing Eve” and “The Last Duel” actress Jodie Comer is reportedly no longer attached to the project. The sequel series will take place at least 50 years after the sequel film which itself unfolded 30 years after the original. [Source: The Hot Mic]
Juror No. 2
Zoey Deutch (“Set It Up”) will join Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette in Clint Eastwood’s newest legal drama feature “Juror No. 2.” at Warner Bros. Pictures which will shoot this Summer. Deutch will play Hoult’s wife, Collette is playing the prosecutor.
Jonathan Abrams’s script follows family man Justin Kemp (Hoult) who, while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma…one he could use to sway the jury verdict. [Source: THR]
The Blue Angels
Amazon Studios has scored the worldwide rights to the IMAX-shot U.S. naval aviation documentary “The Blue Angels” which hails from J.J. Abrams and Glen Powell’s production companies.
The film chronicles a year in the cockpit with one of the world’s top aviator teams, the Navy and Marine Corps flight squadron, through their intense training and aerial touring show. The Paul Crowder-directed film will hit cinemas before heading to Amazon Prime. [source: Variety
