War and Revolt
Famed South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook (“Old Boy,” “The Handmaiden”), hot off the success of last year’s “Decision to Leave,” will co-write and produce the period thriller film “War and Revolt” for Netflix.
Directed by Kim Sang-man (“Midnight FM”) and set during Korea’s Joseon dynasty, the story charts the lives of two childhood friends turned adversaries amidst the chaos of war.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves
Dale Dickey, Mo Brings Plenty, Tosin Morohunfola, and Margot Bingham have all scored recurring roles in the “Yellowstone” spin-off series “Lawmen: Bass Reeves” for the Paramount+ service.
They join previously announced lead David Oyelowo as well as cast members Lauren E. Banks, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, and Demi Singleton. Dennis Quaid and Donald Sutherland also recur, while Shea Whigham and Garrett Hedlund guest star. [Source: Variety]
How Do You Live
GKIDS has acquired North American theatrical distribution rights to Studio Ghibli’s forthcoming animated movie “How Do You Live” – the expected final work from acclaimed filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. Netflix Games has released a sizzle reel of upcoming games that will be hitting the service, including “Oxenfree II: Lost Signals” on July 12th, “The Queen’s Gambit Chess” in July 25th, and “Cut the Rope Daily” on August 1st as well as teases of “Lego Legacy: Heroes Unboxed” and “Paper Trail”.
