Wally’s Wonderland
The first photo has been released from Kevin Lewis’ “Wally’s Wonderland,” a film that sounds like a spin on “Five Nights at Freddy’s”. Nicolas Cage plays a quiet drifter who is tricked into a janitorial job at a now condemned amusement park.
He finds himself trapped in the abandoned family entertainment center populated by demonic-possessed animatronics and must fight for survival. Emily Tosta, Beth Grant, Ric Reitz and Chris Warner co-star in the film and shooting is currently underway in Atlanta.
The Haunting of Bly Manor
“The Haunting of Hill House” follow-up season, “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” has just wrapped production according to creator and showrunner Mike Flanagan. The new season is primarily an adaptation of Henry James’ “The Turn of The Screw” and other works by the author, and will debut on Netflix later this year.
Flanagan writes: “That’s a wrap on THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR. Walker
Mitch Pileggi (“The X-Files”) is set as a series regular in “Walker,” the reimagining of CBS’ “Walker, Texas Ranger” on The CW. Jared Padalecki, Keegan Allen and Lindsey Morgan co-star in the series,
Pileggi will play Bonham Walker, the sturdy, conservative and tough father of Padalecki’s title character Cordell Walker. Both actors previously worked together on The CW’s “Supernatural” series. [Source: Deadline]
Kevin Can F–k Himself
Annie Murphy (“Schitt’s Creek”) has been cast as the lead in AMC’s new dark comedy series “Kevin Can F— Himself”. The story centers around Murphy’s Allison, a sitcom wife who escapes her confines and discovers her rage. The story shifts from single-camera realism to multi-camera comedy and the formats will inform one another. [Source: Variety]
Stranger Things
Priah Ferguson has been upped to a series regular in the fourth season of Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” reprising her role of Caleb’s little sister Erica Sinclair. Ferguson appeared in four episodes of the second season, before moving up to a recurring role in the third. [Source: Variety]
