Venom: Let There Be Carnage
Columbia Pictures is maintaining its PG-13 rating for its “Venom” films with Andy Serkis’ upcoming sequel “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” having just been handed a PG-13 by the MPAA for “intense sequences of violence and action, some strong language, disturbing material, and suggestive references.” The film itself opens on October 15th. 4K
Two brief UHD updates today with David Lowery’s fantasy drama “The Green Knight” setting an October 12th release date on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital. In addition, Criterion has upgraded its November 23rd release of “Uncut Gems” and will include the 4K UHD version of the Safdie Brothers film.

The Game
Tim Daly and Toby Sandeman have been cast in the update of The CW & BET’s nine-season comedy-drama “The Game” which is coming to the Paramount+ service.

The ten-episode first season of the revival premieres November 11th and brings back Coby Bell, Brittany Daniel and Pooch Hall reprising their roles in this now San Diego-set modern-day examination of Black culture through the prism of pro football. [Source: EW]

Belfast
The first photos have been released from Kenneth Branagh’s new drama “Belfast” which will premiere in Toronto next week. Jamie Dornan, Caitriona Balfe, Judi Dench, Ciaran Hinds, Colin Morgan and Jude Hill star in the film about a young boy and his working-class Irish family as they experience the tumultuous late 1960s.
