Edward Burns’ Marlboro Road Gang Productions and Radar Pictures are teaming to develop Tosca Lee’s upcoming thriller novel “The Line Between” into a television series with a writer currently being sought.

The story sees an ancient disease re-emerging from the melting permafrost to cause madness in its victims. As it spirals toward pandemic, an opportunistic cyber attack plunges the nation into chaos and a 22-year-old doomsday cult escapee utilizes her survival skills to lead those with her to safety in a harrowing new reality. The Sleepers
David Nykl (“Arrow”) and Hattie Morahan (“Beauty and the Beast”) will headline the spy drama “Sleepers” for HBO Europe. Tatiana Pauhofova co-stars in the six-part drama set in 1980s Prague and follows a former Communist Czech who fleed the country and now returns to take advantage of an amnesty.

Upon arriving she and her husband are hit by a car, and she wakes up to find he’s disappeared and nobody seems to know anything about him. Ondrej Gabriel penned the work. [Source Variety]

WGN America’s Jerry O’Connell-led series “Carter” has been renewed for a second season. The network’s most-watched original series last year, O’Connell plays the star of a detective show who takes a break from Hollywood and returns to his hometown – where he is confronted with real-life mysteries to unravel. Metro Exodus
Deep Silver and 4A Studios have released a new trailer for the upcoming game title “Metro Exodus”, the four-minute clip going into the game’s weaponry and customization options.

“Metro Exodus” tasks players with leading survivors across post-apocalyptic Russia, armed with a wide variety of different weapons, tools, craft items to combat the enemies and creatures waiting out in the wasteland. The game comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on February 15th.
