Dr. Strangelove
Steve Coogan has signed on for a British stage adaptation of Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 nuclear war satirical film “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb”.

Like Peter Sellers in the original, Coogan is set to play multiple roles in the production which hails from “Veep” and “In the Loop director Armando Iannucci. [Source: Twitter]

Dune
Denis Villeneuve’s first “Dune” film is finally leaving the Max SVOD ecosystem’s exclusivity and will be coming to Netflix on October 1st. Netflix announced the news in a tweet which also said “the spice must flow”.

Gran Turismo
Sony Pictures has made its “Gran Turismo” film adaptation, released last month, available from today as a $24.99 digital purchase on VOD storefronts like Amazon and Apple.

It joins other recent releases like “Blue Beetle” and “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3” which also hit digital today. “Gran Turismo” will also receive a November 7th disc release date.

Argylle
Universal Pictures will premiere the teaser trailer for “Kingsman” and “Kick Ass” director Matthew Vaughn’s spy thriller “Argylle” tomorrow. The film opens in early February.

The movie stars Henry Cavill with a rather bizarre haircut, along with Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston, Sofia Boutella, Ariana DeBose, Catherine O’Hara and Samuel L. Jackson.
