Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness
Xochitl Gomez (“The Baby-Sitters Club”) has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. Benedict Cumberbatch returns to reprise the title role in the Sam Raimi directed effort also starring Elizabeth Olsen and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Production will begin after Cumberbatch finishes filming on the next “Spider-Man” film where he also plays “Doctor Strange”. [Source: Deadline]
The Housemaid
Deon Taylor (“The Intruder”) is to direct the horror-thriller “Grave Hill” for CJ Entertainment. The film, an English-language remake of the hit 2017 Vietnamese horror film “The Housemaid,” will start production in early 2021 and will shift the setting to the American South during the Reconstruction era. Panama
Cole Hauser and Mel Gibson have been cast in the action thriller “Panama” which hails from filmmaker Mark Neveldine (“Crank”). Shooting kicks off in Puerto Rico this December.
Daniel Adams and William R. Barber penned the film which follows a highly-decorated former Marine sent undercover by his old commanding officer on a dangerous mission to oversee an important deal when things go wrong. [Source: THR]
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” this one taking a deep dive into the gameplay as you explore how to grow your settlement, customise your Vikings, and journey to new worlds. The game sees you take on the role of Eivor, a Viking raider, as they lead their fellow Vikings against the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms in 873 CE. The game hits Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC (via Epic Games Store), UPLAY+ and Stadia on the week of November 12th.
Ghost of Tsushima
A trailer is out for version 1.1 of celebrated PS4 game “Ghost of Tsushima,” an update coming today that brings the launch of co-op multiplayer mode “Ghost of Tsushima: Legends” along with new updates and New Game+ for the single-player campaign. There’s also additional story and cosmetic options.
