Sherlock Holmes 3
Actor Eddie Marsan says he isn’t sure a third film in the Robert Downey Jr.-led Sherlock Holmes franchise will ever happen. Marsan, who plays Inspector Lestrade in the Guy Ritchie-directed film series was asked by Screen Rant about the chances of a new entry to which he said: “Every year, I hear that they’re going to do it, they’re going to do it, they’re going to do it, and it never happens. I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s ever going to happen.”

Ballard
Amazon Prime Video has reportedly handed out a second season renewal order for the “Bosch” spin-off series “Ballard”. The renewal comes almost three months after the 10-episode first season of the series starring Maggie Q was released July 9th as a binge drop.

The series charted on Nielsen’s weekly Top 10 for streaming originals over several weeks, including a #4 finish at one point. The show was recently awarded a $15 million tax credit by the California Film Commission, making its pickup likely. [Source: Deadline]
