She-Hulk
Production on Marvel Studios’ upcoming Tatiana Maslany-led legal comedy “She-Hulk” series has finally begun in Trilith Studios in Atlanta and is expected to shoot until August 30th.
The project marks the third Disney+ series currently in production for Disney+ alongside “Ms. Marvel” and “Hawkeye” which have both been filming since last year. Renee Elise Goldsberry, Ginger Gonzaga, Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth co-star. [Source: Twitter]
Black Adam
Stand-up comedian Mo Amer (“Ramy”) is the latest to join the Dwayne Johnson-led “Black Adam” for New Line and DC Films. Details of his role are being kept secret.
Amer joins a cast that includes Johnson, Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer and Bodhi Sabongui. Jaume Collet-Serra directs the film which opens July 2022. [Source Deadline]
Killers of the Flower Moon
Tatanka Means, Michael Abbott Jr, Pat Healy and Scott Shepherd have been added to the cast of Martin Scorsese’s 1920s Oklahoma-set “Killers of the Flower Moon” at Apple Studios.
The quartet joins Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, William Belleau, Louis Cancelmi, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins and Jillian Dion. [Source Deadline]
Without Remorse
Two weeks out from release, Amazon Prime has released a new featurette about the Michael B. Jordan-led adaptation of Tom Clancy’s novel “Without Remorse”.
The clip ties back to the source material, the past screen iterations of the John Kelly character, and where he could go in the future with Jordan. “Without Remorse” hits Amazon Prime on April 30th.
