Shazam: Fury of the Gods
Warners has pushed back “Shazam: Fury of the Gods” by five days from Friday December 16th to Wednesday December 21st. The move gets the film out of the way of James Cameron’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” which arrives on December 16th and just had a splashing showing at CinemaCon. [Source: Twitter]

The Nun 2
Warner Bros. Pictures has officially confirmed a sequel to “The Nun” is being developed and was shown as part of a sizzle reel shown during the studio’s CinemaCon presentation. No further details were available including who may be returning and who is directing. James Wan will almost certainly return to produce. [Source: Collider]

Pretty Smart
Netflix’s multi-camera comedy series “Pretty Smart” has been cancelled and will not return for a second season. Emily Osment starred as Chelsea a high-brow, Harvard-educated intellectual and aspiring novelist forced to move in with her bubbly, carefree West Coast sister (Olivia Macklin). CNN+
CNN+ will be discontinued on Thursday, two days earlier than initially announced last week. After April 28th, the CNN+ daily and weekly shows, Interview Club, and the on-demand library will no longer be available. Active subscribers will receive a full refund, and subscriptions will be officially cancelled on that date. [Source: Deadline]

Bupkis
Peacock has ordered Pete Davidson’s semi-autobiographical live-action scripted comedy “Bupkis” straight-to-series. Davidson will write alongside Dave Sirus and Judah Miller writing and executive producing with Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer and Erin David.

The series is a heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life and combines grounded storytelling with absurd elements from his unfiltered worldview. [Source: THR]
