HBO Max has announced that its comedy “Search Party” will ened with its upcoming ten-episode fifth season. The final run will debut on the streaming service on Friday January 7th. Creators Sarah-Violet Bliss and Charles Rogers will develop new projects for the streamer. [Source: THR]
The School for Good and Evil
Netflix and Paul Feig’s young adult film adaptation “The School for Good and Evil” has added Ben Kingsley, Patti LuPone, Rob Delaney, Rachel Bloom and Mark Heap to its cast.
They join an already cast Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Sofia Wylie, Sophia Anne Caruso, Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, Michelle Yeoh and Laurence Fishburne. The project was mostly shot around Northern Ireland an opens in 2022. [Source: THR]
Monster High
Nickelodeon and Mattel have set Miia Harris, Ceci Balagot, Nayah Damasen, Case Walker, Kyle Selig, Marci T. House, Scotch Ellis Loring, Steve Valentine, Jy Prishkulnik, Lina Lecompte, Justin Derickson, Lilah Fitzgerald and Nasiv Sall as the cast for its live-action TV musical movie “Monster High” directed by Todd Holland.
Harris plays Clawdeen Wolf, born half human and half werewolf, after she arrives at her new school where she has finally found a place where she fits in and can truly be herself, despite keeping her human half a secret. Filming begins this month in Vancouver. [Source: Deadline]
Jurassic World: Dominion
Filmmaker Colin Trevorrow has confirmed that “Jurassic World: Dominion,” the third and final film in the “Jurassic World” trilogy, is pretty much complete with the movie’s sound mix just finished.
Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Omar Sy, BD Wong, Isabella Sermon, Campbell Scott, Mamoudou Athie, Scott Haze, and DeWanda Wise co-star in the film which opens June 10th 2022.
