Scream 5
“The Boys” star Jack Quaid has joined the cast of Paramount Pictures’ upcoming fifth “Scream” film which has resumed casting. He joins returnees Courteney Cox and David Arquette along with Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega. Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett helm the new film which is slated to begin filming later this year in Wilmington, North Carolina. [Source: CBM]
Wonder Woman 1984
The Korea Media Ratings Board has revealed that Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman 1984” clocks in at a 151 minute runtime – approximately ten minutes longer than the first film. The new DC Comics adaptation is still set to open in theaters on October 2nd this year.
Ant-Man 3
Filmmaker Peyton Reed has offered a very brief update on the third “Ant-Man” film whilst speaking on the SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show recently. He says the new film is set to be “a much bigger, more sprawling movie than the first two” and will boast a very different visual template. The team behind it are currently working away through the pandemic but no word as yet when they will begin shooting. [Source: Yahoo]
The Fallout
Shailene Woodley, Julie Bowen, John Ortiz and Will Rapp are joining Jenna Ortega, Maddie Ziegler and Niles Fitch in high school drama “The Fallout” which is wrapping up its four-week LA shoot.
