Ridley Scott
88-year-old filmmaker Ridley Scott is currently shooting “The Dog Stars,” has his Bee Gees biopic filming later this year, and intends to shoot a western next year. Now he’s potentially adding another film.

Asked by Collider about what projects he still wants to do, he says: “I still have to do a musical. I still have to do a pirate movie. I still have to do a Western.” With two of those three already lined up, it sounds like he may get around to doing the third – the pirate film. Scott previously considered a William Kidd biopic in the early 2000s.

Black Panther 3
Filmmaker Ryan Coogler has confirmed reports that he hopes to join forces with Denzel Washington for the third “Black Panther” film. Speaking on the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, he was asked if he had conversations with Washington about the film or if he is writing a role specifically for the actor.

Coogler replied: “All of that, bro, all of the above. TThere’s no fiction out there… Denzel is family at this point…I’ve been trying to work with him since day one…I’ve been talking to him about this to him for a long time.” Talking about Denzel’s own reveal of his involvement last year, Coogler says he: “was surprised when he mentioned it, but it’s not like it’s not true.”
