IMAX has announced that the 4K remastered version of New Line Cinema’s acclaimed blockbuster trilogy “The Lord of the Rings” will have its big-screen debut in IMAX theaters from tomorrow (February 5th). [Source: Twitter]

Netflix has won worldwide distribution rights to Rebecca Hall’s feature directorial debut “Passing” in a deal reportedly worth around $15.75 million.

Based on Nella Larsen’s 1929 novel, the black-and-white film follows two childhood friends (Ruth Negga, Tessa Thompson), both mixed-race women, who reunite in 1920s New York. [Source: Netflix]

The J Team
Singer/actress JoJo Siwa is set to star in and executive produce the live-action musical “The J Team” for Nickelodeon and Awesomeness. Michael Lembeck directs and filming begins this month in Vancouver.

Siwa plays a young girl named JoJo whose beloved dance coach (Laura Soltis) retires and is replaced by a sparkle-hating instructor named Poppy (Tisha Campbell-Martin). Kicked out of her dance troupe, Jojo must rediscover what dancing means to her with the help of her best friends (Kerrynton Jones and Kiara T. Romero). [Source: Deadline]

Behind Her Eyes
Netflix has debuted the trailer for the limited series “Behind Her Eyes” based on the best-selling novel of the same name and hitting the service February 17th. Simona Brown, Eve Hewson, Tom Bateman, and Robert Aramayo star.

The twisty thriller follows a single mother that comes between a husband and wife couple. When she begins developing a friendship with the wife and an intimate relationship with the husband, the married couple find themselves at a crossroads.

Superman & Lois
The CW has released new photos from the two-hour premiere of the new Arrowverse series “Superman & Lois” offering a look at when the Kent brothers find out about their father’s superhero identity. The series, starring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch in the titular roles, is set to debut on February 23rd.
