Paramount Pictures and series creator John Krasinski have confirmed that “A Quiet Place Part III” has been set for a July 9th 2027 release.

Krasinski is back to direct, write and produce the film which will be the fourth movie in the series overall. No cast is confirmed at this time, with the story being kept secret. [Source: Deadline]

And Just Like That
HBO Max has confirmed that the “Sex and the City” revival series “And Just Like That” will end with the two-part season finale on August 7th & 14th to serve as the series finale

Showrunner Michael Patrick King said in a statement Friday that he came up with the idea of ending the show while writing the third season finale. The network and cast were all on board, and the deal was done. [Source: TV Line]

James Bond
Following yesterday’s news, he’s penning the next James Bond film, writer Steven Knight tells BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast (via THR) he’s a long-time fan of the franchise and spoke about what fans can expect from his script which Denis Villeneuve will direct: “I’m hoping that, being a Bond fan for so many years, it will be imbued into me and I will be able to produce something that’s the same but different, and better, stronger and bolder.”

Blood on Snow
“Game of Thrones” alum Pilou Asbæk has joined filmmaker Cary Joji Fukunaga‘s upcoming film adaptation of Jo Nesbo’s 2015 crime thriller “Blood on Snow”. Production on the film began earlier this year in Latvia.

The story centers on hit man Olav (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), who falls in love with his mob boss’ wife after being hired to kill her. Benedict Cumberbatch, Eva Green, Emma Laird and Ben Mendelsohn co-star. [Source: THR]

Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is on track for a second weekend of $45-47 million – a drop of 61% from its strong debut. Trying to get some Marvel fans who may be on the fence a bit, the company has now released a TV spot offering new footage of Galactus in all his glory along with spoiling a bunch of the finale.
