Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin
The upcoming seventh installment in the “Paranormal Activity” franchise has scored the title “Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin” which has been granted an R rating by the MPAA “for violence and bloody images, and language throughout”. The film will arrive on March 4th 2022. [Source: Slashfilm]
Stranded Asset
Chris Pratt will re-team with his “The Tomorrow War” co-star Sam Richardson for the action-comedy “Standard Asset” at Universal Pictures.
Jen D’Angelo and Richardson (“Werewolves Within”) will write the project with the latter to also star. Story details are under wraps, but Pratt will produce via his Indivisible Productions banner. [Source: THR]
The Senior
Michael Chiklis has signed on to star in Rod Lurie’s football drama “The Senior” which will shoot in Texas this Fall. The film is based on the true story of Mike Flynt (Chiklis) who, 37 years ago, was kicked off his college football team for an altercation.
Now at 59, Mike learns he still has a year of eligibility, he decides to go back to school to get his degree and try out for the team to redeem his past. [Source: Deadline]
Criterion
