Scrooge: A Christmas Carol
Luke Evans, Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Jonathan Pryce, Johnny Flynn, Fra Fee, Giles Terera Trevor Dion Nicholas and James Cosmo will lend their voices to a new Netflix animated film take on Dickens’ “Scrooge: A Christmas Carol”.

Stephen Donnelly helms what is dubbed a “supernatural, time-travelling, musical adaptation of the definitive Christmas story” and will boast reimagined songs from Oscar-winner Leslie Bricusse. [Source: Netflix]

The Graveyard Book
Marc Forster (“Christopher Robin”) has come on board to direct Disney Studios’ film adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s 2008 novel “The Graveyard Book” which David Magee is adapting.

The story follows Nobody ‘Bod’ Owens, a young boy who is raised by the ghosts and supernatural beings of a graveyard – including the graveyard’s caretaker Silas – after his family is murdered. [Source: Deadline]

The School for Good and Evil
Netflix has released a poster for its young adult fantasy film “The School for Good and Evil” along with confirming thePaul Feig-directed film’s premiere date of October 21st on the service.

Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Sofia Wylie, and Sophia Anne Caruso appear on the one-sheet for the film adapted from Soman Chainani’s novels about two best friends as they navigate the enchanted school and find themselves on opposing sides of the battle between good and evil.
