The Marvels
Composer Laura Karpman (“Lovecraft Country”) has been set to score “The Marvels,” the sequel to “Captain Marvel,” for Disney and Marvel Studios.

Karpman will work alongside director Nia DaCosta on the film starring Brie Larson, Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris. She takes over from Pinar Toprak who scored the first “Captain Marvel”. [Source: Variety]

Gentefied
Netflix has cancelled the Latinx dramedy “Gentefied” which follows three Mexican-American cousins trying to find a balance between chasing the American dream and protecting their neighborhood and culture from gentrification. Despite rave reviews, neither of the two seasons produced ever made the Netflix Top 10 list. [Source: Collider]

Atlanta
FX hasd released an unusual trailer for the Europe-set third season of Donald Glover’s acclaimed comedy-drama “Atlanta”. Playing like a weird vintage eastern European commercial but with the cast members turning up. “Atlanta” returns to the network on March 24th.

Uncharted
Sony Pictures has premiered a new poster for the Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg-led $120 million action-adventure “Uncharted” based on the video game franchise. Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle co-star

The pair play Nathan Drake and Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan who set out in dangerous pursuit of ‘the greatest treasure never found’. Ruben Fleischer directed the film which premieres in theaters on February 18th.
