Hotel Del Luna
Skydance Television and CJ ENM (“Parasite”) are teaming for a new English series adaptation of Korean fantasy drama “Hotel Del Luna”. “Altered Carbon” showrunner Alison Schapker will oversee the adaptation as executive producer.

The original 2019 series features an elite hotelier who becomes the manager of Hotel Del Luna, a mystical hotel that only caters to spirits at night, after stumbling upon a fateful event. [Source: Collider]

How Winston Delivered Christmas
“The Lion King” and “Stuart Little” director Rob Minkoff is attached to helm and co-produce an animated series adaptation of Alex T. Smith’s beloved children’s book “How Winston Delivered Christmas” for Kelebek Media.

The story follows a brave mouse who finds a letter that has been lost on its way to Father Christmas on Christmas Eve, so, with no time to lose, he sets out to deliver it himself in time for Christmas Day. [Source: Variety]

Dr. Gilmer
Jennifer Fox (“The Tale”) will direct a film adaptation of Dr. Benjamin Gilmer’s new true-crime novel “The Other Dr. Gilmer” for Concordia Studio, Social Construct Films and Maven Screen Media. Jonathan King, Zak Kilberg, Celine Rattray and Trudie Styler will produce.

The story follows a beloved small-town physician, Dr. Vince Gilmer, who murders his father for mysterious reasons. His successor, coincidentally named Dr. Benjamin Gilmer, becomes obsessed with understanding what drove Vince to snap. A true-crime investigation coupled with a medical mystery, and a social justice crusade, ultimately changes the course of both their lives. [Source: THR]

Peacock
New streaming service Peacock will be available across the U.S. starting July 15th on Google platforms and devices including Android, Android TVs, Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices. Android and Android TV users will receive complimentary access to Peacock Premium (with ads) through October 15th. Peacock has already closed deals with Apple and game consoles but has yet to do the same with Roku and Amazon Fire TV – both of which are holding out on HBO Max as well. [Source: Variety]

Untitled M. Night Shyamalan Feature
Universal Pictures has set a July 23rd 2021 release date for M. Night Shyamalan’s new untitled thriller starring Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aaron Pierce, Vicky Krieps, Alex Wolff and Abbey Lee. Shooting will kick off in the Dominican Republic this Summer. Plot specifics are under wraps with the film opening up against sci-fi movie “The Tomorrow War” starring Chris Pratt, Betty Gilpin, J.K. Simmons, and Yvonne Strahovski. [Source: THR]
